Our Auto Services in Englewood, CO

eForce Automotive Service is an auto electrical, diagnostics and programming shop for drivers across the south Denver metro. Most of our work starts where a code reader stops: finding the real cause of a warning light, an electrical fault or a key problem, and then fixing it in-house. We work on a wide range of makes, with a specialty in German cars, and our technicians are OEM manufacturer-certified. Choose a service below to learn how we approach it.

Overview of six eForce Automotive Service services (car diagnostics, auto electrical repair, module programming, key fob programming, lost car keys, and airbag/SRS repair), plus German specialty brands BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Volkswagen and Porsche; most makes served, with a footnote that key programming is not available for Mercedes-Benz with FBS4 (approx. 2015+).

Car Diagnostics & Check Engine Light

A check engine light tells you something is wrong, not what. Our diagnostic goes beyond a code read. We scan every module, review freeze-frame and live data, test the circuits involved and give you written findings with a clear repair quote. We also diagnose ABS, traction control, battery and charging lights, as well as symptoms like no-start, stalling, rough idle and intermittent electrical faults.

Auto Electrical Repair

Batteries that keep dying, cars that won't start or just click, flickering lights, dead power windows and locks, and gauges acting up. We do parasitic drain testing, battery, starter, alternator and charging tests, wiring and connector repair (including corrosion and rodent damage), and diagnosis of CAN bus communication faults, open and short circuits, voltage drops, and power and ground issues. The initial diagnostic is $100; advanced electrical troubleshooting is charged hourly and discussed with you first.

Module Programming & Coding

A replacement control module has to be programmed and coded to your car before it works properly. We program ECU / ECM / PCM, BCM, TCM, ABS, instrument cluster and airbag modules. We also install software updates and carry out the adaptations and calibrations a car needs after a repair. New, used and rebuilt modules are all welcome. We have OEM manufacturer software for supported GM, Ford, Mazda and Nissan vehicles. For repair shops and dealers, many services, including cloning, bench and boot mode programming, and data transfer, can be done with the module removed from the vehicle. Programming for newer European vehicles is verified by VIN first. We do not provide circuit-board or component-level module repair.

Four-step service flow: call to schedule an appointment, diagnose the cause, receive a clear quote to approve, then repair or programming in our shop.

Key Fob & Car Key Programming

Spare keys, replacement remotes and smart keys that actually start your car. We cut keys and program key fobs, push-to-start smart keys and transponder chip keys for most makes, so you get cutting and programming in one place. We can also program a key fob you already have, once compatibility is verified. We focus on electronic key services and do not normally repair mechanical lock or ignition cylinders. We currently do not make keys for Mercedes-Benz vehicles with the FBS4 key system (roughly 2015 and newer).

Lost Car Keys / All Keys Lost

Lost every key? We can make a new one without the original. We verify your ID and ownership, cut a new key, program it to your car's immobilizer and erase the lost keys so they can no longer start the car.

→ Lost car keys / all keys lost

Airbag & SRS Light Repair

An airbag light means the system has found a fault, and the airbags may not deploy. We diagnose clock springs, seat and occupant sensors, connectors, pretensioners and stored crash data. We then repair the fault, reset the module or program a replacement. Full SRS service includes replacing deployed airbags.

Why diagnosis comes first

Every service on this list starts the same way: we find the cause before we replace anything. Modern cars have dozens of networked modules, and the same symptom can come from a sensor, a wire, low voltage or a module. Testing first means you pay for the right repair. You get a clear quote before any work, and pricing comes after diagnostics.

Besides these six services, we also handle general auto service and repair, as well as performance tuning.

Pricing table: initial diagnostic $100, additional in-depth diagnostic from $50 per system or module, advanced electrical troubleshooting at an hourly rate, and all keys lost typically $300 to $1,000 or more.

German makes — our specialty

We work on all makes, and German cars are our specialty:

  • BMW
  • Mercedes-Benz
  • Audi
  • Volkswagen
  • Porsche

German vehicles rely heavily on networked modules, coding and smart key systems that are tied to the immobilizer. That is exactly where our diagnostics and programming work are focused. Our technicians are OEM manufacturer-certified.

Programming capabilities for newer European vehicles, particularly certain Audi, Mercedes-Benz and BMW platforms, may be more limited and must be verified for the specific vehicle and requested service — contact us with your VIN and we'll confirm support before scheduling an appointment.

FAQ

Do you work on all makes?

We work with a wide range of makes, with a specialty in German cars: BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Volkswagen and Porsche. Programming for newer European vehicles, particularly certain Audi, Mercedes-Benz and BMW platforms, must be verified by VIN. For keys, the one current exception is Mercedes-Benz with the FBS4 key system (roughly 2015 and newer).

Do I need an appointment?

Yes. We work by appointment only. Call us at 720-790-5857 to schedule.

Do you come to me?

No. We don't offer mobile or on-site service. Please bring your car to our shop at 1713 W Baltic Pl.

How is pricing handled?

The initial diagnostic is $100 and typically takes up to 1 hour. If a specific system or module needs additional in-depth testing, we discuss it with you first; additional testing starts at $50 per system/module, and advanced electrical troubleshooting is charged hourly. Repair pricing comes after diagnostics, with a clear quote before any work begins.

Can you program used modules?

Yes. We program and adapt used modules, as long as the part is compatible with your car and isn't locked or damaged.

Do you work with other repair shops and dealers?

Yes. We provide module programming, cloning and calibration services for repair shops, technicians and dealers. Many services can be performed with the module removed from the vehicle, so the complete vehicle may not always be required. See module programming for shops & dealers.
